Bay Square Residences at 950 Massachusetts Avenue was built in 1989. It is located right outside of Cambridge's Harvard Square and features luxury condominiums and amenities. 

In 2020, APD was asked to renovate and re-decorate the dated and somewhat cluttered interior of the lobby, entrance and concierge area of the residential building. The timing of the project made it into our pandemic project. All team members and colleagues who were involved in this renovation mastered the challenge with patience, dedication and by walking an extra mile every day. 

The stunningly bright and spacious lobby with a tall double-height ceiling was brought back to its original form by eliminating dated trellises. We created a contemporay, elegant color palette by selecting soothing colors for the walls and floor and added contrasting deep purples, navy and red tones for the seating areas.  

We eliminated the existing structure of the front desk and designed a sleek, contemporay and practical space for the concierge team.  With its warm materials and light features it is now one of the main center pieces of the building.
