PROCESS

STEP 1: Initial Consultation and Planning

Our journey will begin with an initial meeting. This is simply a chance for us to get to know each other and the way we like to work and collaborate. We learn about your needs, aspirations, preferences, and lifestyle. We collect information about your vision, understand the specific requirements and challenges of your space.

This is also a critical time to start talking about the scope and budget. From the beginning, we need to ensure that your needs and aspirations stay within the budget that you allocated to your project. We will discuss your timeline, potential milestones or a deadline that you have in mind.

STEP 2: Concept Development

Our design process begins. Together, we will gather inspirations for your project from various resources such as social media, magazines, real-life locations and images. We will create mood boards, propose color palettes, textures, materials and design elements to you that will visualize our overall design approach.

We will capture beginning ideas and concepts with first sketches which we will use for our future discussions and development.

STEP 3: Space Planning

We will conduct a detailed and specific space anaylsis, conduct field measurements, establish new architecural plans if needed.. This step will help us identify and visualize the limitations and potential of your space so that we are able to maximize our design concept.

Step 4: Design Development

This is the phase where we translate our initial vision into a concrete and detailed plan. We will closely collaborate with you to create detailed drawings, floor plans and elevations so that contractors and builders have concrete guidelines.

We will finalize and select all design elements and select materials and finishes as well as furniture, fixtures and equipment. You will review plans, make adjustments and give us feedback on specific elements so that we can make any necessary adjustments.

Step 5: Implementation

We will hire a contractor and various tradespeople. We will oversee the construction, delivery and installation processes to ensure that our design specifications are realized correctly and to your satisfaction. Our team will supervise the construction and pay attention to all details during the construction stages.

Step 6: Project Completion

During this final stage, we focus on warmth and character to your project by adding accessories such as artwork, décor items or textiles.  Any styling suggestion will be coordinated with you so that we continue to speak your aesthetic language throughout the space. During a final walkthrough we will identify last tweaks and potential adjustments that are necessary to bring your vision to life.
