Total make-over for this kitchen!  Traditional cabinets and dark green marble countertops made way for brighter materials and lighter colors all round. Where the stove and industrial hood framed by large cabinets blocked views and daylight, we now have an oversized picture window with generous views of the beautiful garden. A large featureless island was replaced by a proper dining table which floats out of a waterfall island incorporating drawers on the opposite side. The true stars of this kitchen are two Jeremy Cole Aloe Bud pendants that were flown over from New Zealand and offer the perfect counterpoint to one of Dale Chihuli’s earlier sketches.
