Like the mill at 240 Canal Street, Washington Mill is located in the heart of Lawrence’ Mill District at the riverfront of the Merrimack River. It consist of flats and loft-style apartments with an industrial look and feel. This expansive lobby as well as the spacious lounge feature authetic details like original exposed brick, rustic wood beams and high ceilings. We did not want to distract from the charm of the mill’s heritage and stayed with warm brown tones and natural materials for the interior renovation. We enhanced the common spaces by adding new seating areas, photo-art that feature the longstanding history of the building, as well as console tables made of original beams.
